SHARON KLEIN - Sharon Klein is a singer-songwriter, guitarist, producer, and veteran of New York City’s vibrant Greenwich Village music scene. A lifelong musician whose early influences ranged from The Beatles and Bob Dylan to Broadway and Burt Bacharach, she earned a publishing deal with Bacharach’s Knollwood Music and later scored a Billboard Top 40 dance hit as a producer. Sharon has worn many hats in her long and varied career as a professional musician including staff songwriter, band leader, record producer and recording engineer. Her passion for global music led her to study Indian raga with Pandit Pran Nath and Arabic music in the Middle East, influences reflected in her acclaimed self-produced album, The Way Back Home. Now based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Klein is a sought-after performer whose deeply personal, memoire style of writing has garnered critical acclaim for her often witty songs and masterful fingerstyle guitar playing. She looks forward to helping participants make sure the message they want to get across in their songs can be heard without explaining it; allowing the song to “sing and speak for itself” with as much authenticity as possible.

MICHELE GEDNEY - Michele Gedney spent 23 years as one half of the award-winning duo Open Book with her late husband, Rick Gedney, earning acclaim for their thoughtful lyrics, inventive melodies, and rich vocal and guitar harmonies. The duo released five critically acclaimed albums, with their final recording, Leaning In, reaching the Folk Alliance International radio chart in 2024. A co-founder and longtime instructor at Dar Williams’ Writing a Song That Matters retreat, Michele has received numerous songwriting honors, including having her song "Go" recorded by Cry Cry Cry. Now performing as a solo artist, she continues to write, co-write, arrange, and record new music, and is currently working on a solo album. She has been writing and arranging vocals and guitars for other musician’s recording projects, and has been enjoying some successful co-writing opportunities.

BRAD COLE - Brad Cole is an acclaimed singer-songwriter whose soulful, genre-blending music combines elements of jazz, soul, rock, and Americana to explore the highs and lows of the human experience with wit, insight, and emotional depth. He is the producer of the Sonic Sanctuary Nicaragua – a 7-day Transformative Music Retreat with fellow teachers Dan Navarro and Natalia Zuckerman. Over more than a decade of touring, he has performed at renowned venues including Lincoln Center, Wrigley Field, City Winery, The Hotel Cafe, The Ark, and Rockwood Music Hall, and has shared stages with artists such as Chris Stapleton, Ingrid Michaelson, Hothouse Flowers, Shovels & Rope, and Dave Davies of The Kinks. A veteran of Chicago’s storied music scene, Cole has released multiple solo albums, including the critically praised Lay It Down, and leads the acclaimed musical collective Bossa Blue, known for its inventive fusion of rock, jazz, funk, Afro-pop, and Latin influences. His creative projects also include the celebrated trio Cole, Nakoa & Treacher, the award-winning documentary Cole Soul, and the sci-fi musical Songs From The Moon. Now based in New York’s Hudson Valley, Cole continues to captivate audiences with his distinctive voice, dynamic performances, and adventurous songwriting.

TINA ROSS - Tina Ross is a New York-based singer-songwriter whose songs blend contemporary folk with touches of jazz and hope, rooted in lyrical storytelling and emotional depth. Her performances are known for their intimacy, authenticity, and strong connection with audiences. A 2024 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Most Wanted Artist and 2023 Focus Music Heyman Rising Artist Award recipient, Tina has earned recognition from the UK Songwriting Contest, the International Acoustic Music Awards, the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and other prestigious competitions. Her debut album, While I’m Here, was released in 2023 and considered for a Grammy, and her song "The Seasons Project" appeared on Christine Lavin’s acclaimed compilation. After overcoming a vocal injury that reshaped her approach to guitar playing and songwriting, Tina developed a distinctive style marked by inventive tunings, vivid storytelling, and emotional resonance. 

Tina hosts the Zoomcast Inside the Song, a hybrid concert and interview series featuring seasoned songwriters and the craft behind their work. She is deeply committed to songcraft and to creating spaces where meaningful music and stories thrive.  Tina has taught workshops on songwriting with The Folk Project's Acoustic Getaway, 21 Songwriters and monthly with accomplished songwriters on Inside the Song.
